Jamie Bissonnette, Chef and Founding Partner of BCB3 Hospitality. He is a James Beard Award-winning chef and Food & Wine-honored Best New Chef, widely recognized as one of the defining forces in Boston’s contemporary dining scene. He is the culinary mind behind several of the city’s most celebrated restaurants, including Somaek (recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, named one of the best new restaurants in the country by the New York Times and honored as a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation’s “Best New Restaurant” category, as well as ZURiTO, Temple Records, Sushi @ Temple Records.
Alongside restaurateurs Babak Bina and Andy Cartin, Jamie Bissonnette is the Chef and Partner of BCB3 Hospitality. Since its founding in 2023, BCB3 has quickly emerged as a powerhouse in the Boston dining landscape, earning “Restaurant Group of the year” from The Boston Globe and Boston Magazine’s “Best Empire Builder” for its impact on Boston’s culinary culture.
A longtime leader in the city’s dining evolution, Bissonnette is also known for his earlier work with JK Food Group, where he helped shape some of the city’s most influential and enduring concepts, including Coppa, Toro, and Little Donkey. Beyond the kitchen, Bissonnette is a familiar face on television, with appearances on Iron Chef America, Chopped, and Beat Bobby Flay, and is deeply passionate about music – a love that even inspired his vinyl-driven bar concept, Temple Records.
